This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05530) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human MYL12B. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MYL12B from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The activity of nonmuscle myosin II (see MYH9; MIM 160775) is regulated by phosphorylation of a regulatory light chain, such as MRLC2. This phosphorylation results in higher MgATPase activity and the assembly of myosin II filaments (Iwasaki et al., 2001 [PubMed 11942626]). DPABH-05530 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:25–1:100) applications. DPABH-05530 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
