General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-24413) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MTG1, targeting the amino acid region 1–300 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. MTG1 is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes mitochondrial ribosome-associated GTPase 1, a conserved enzyme belonging to the YlqF GTPase family with a key role in mitochondrial protein synthesis. Located on chromosome 10q26.3, the gene spans approximately 28 kb and consists of 11 exons, producing a 334-amino-acid protein that localizes primarily to the mitochondrial matrix and inner membrane. The protein exhibits GTPase activity and binds GTP via its YlqF domain (residues 30–207), enabling it to facilitate the assembly of the large subunit of the mitochondrial ribosome (mitoribosome).
DPABH-24413 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000), IF/ICC (1:20–1:200) applications.
DPABH-24413 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
