General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03078) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human MRPS26. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MRPS26 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. MRPS26 (Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein S26) is a nuclear-encoded protein, essential for assembling the small 28S subunit of the mitochondrial ribosome, which is responsible for synthesizing oxidative phosphorylation proteins. Located at chromosome 20p13, it plays a critical role in mitochondrial translation, ensuring proper energy metabolism. DPABH-03078 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:100–1:200) applications. DPABH-03078 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
