General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03275) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MRPS14, targeting the amino acid region 31–128 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. MRPS14 (mitochondrial ribosomal protein S14) encodes a component of the small subunit of the mitochondrial ribosome, which is responsible for protein synthesis within mitochondria. MRPS14 participates in translating mitochondrial-encoded mRNAs into essential respiratory chain proteins required for oxidative phosphorylation and cellular energy production. As a structural protein of the mitochondrial ribosome, it helps maintain ribosomal assembly and translational fidelity. Dysfunction or altered expression of MRPS14 may impair mitochondrial protein synthesis and has been associated with mitochondrial disorders and metabolic abnormalities due to compromised energy metabolism. Overall, MRPS14 is important for maintaining mitochondrial function and cellular bioenergetic homeostasis.
DPABH-03275 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-03275 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
