General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21277) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MRPL3, targeting the amino acid region 54–311 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Mitochondrial ribosomal protein L3 (MRPL3) is a nuclear-encoded protein that forms a core component of the 39S large subunit of the human mitoribosome, the ribosome responsible for translating mitochondrial DNA-encoded proteins essential for oxidative phosphorylation. Belonging to the L3P ribosomal protein family, MRPL3 shares sequence homology with bacterial ribosomal protein L3 and plays a critical role in mitochondrial protein synthesis by facilitating the assembly and function of the mitoribosome, which has a notably high protein-to-rRNA ratio compared to prokaryotic ribosomes. The protein consists of 348 amino acids and localizes to the mitochondrial inner membrane as part of the mitochondrial large ribosomal subunit.
DPABH-21277 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-21277 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
