General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21419) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human MGEA5. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MGEA5 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The dynamic modification of cytoplasmic and nuclear proteins by O-linked N-acetylglucosamine (O-GlcNAc) addition and removal on serine and threonine residues is catalyzed by OGT (MIM 300255), which adds O-GlcNAc, and MGEA5, a glycosidase that removes O-GlcNAc modifications (Gao et al., 2001 [PubMed 11148210]).
DPABH-21419 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:25–1:100) applications.
DPABH-21419 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
