This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19873) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MED31, targeting the amino acid region 1–131 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human MED31 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. MED31, also named as SOH1 or CGI-125, is a 131 amino acid protein, which belongs to the Mediator complex subunit 31 family. MED31 localizes in the nucleus. MED31 as a component of the Mediator complex, a coactivator is involved in the regulated transcription of nearly all RNA polymerase II-dependent genes. MED31 functions as a bridge to convey information from gene-specific regulatory proteins to the basal RNA polymerase II transcription machinery.
DPABH-19873 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
