General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02251) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MCM7, targeting the amino acid region 1–305 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Minichromosome maintenance complex component 7 (MCM7) is a protein encoded by the MCM7 gene in humans, essential for the initiation of eukaryotic genome replication. Located on chromosome 7q22.1, the gene consists of 15 exons and produces a ubiquitously expressed protein that forms a core subunit of the MCM2-7 hexameric complex, which serves as the primary replicative helicase responsible for unwinding DNA at replication forks. This complex ensures that DNA is duplicated exactly once per cell cycle by licensing origins of replication during the G1 phase and facilitating the assembly of pre-replication complexes (pre-RCs).
DPABH-02251 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-02251 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
