This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12824) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human MCCC1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MCCC1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes the large subunit of 3-methylcrotonyl-CoA carboxylase. This enzyme functions as a heterodimer and catalyzes the carboxylation of 3-methylcrotonyl-CoA to form 3-methylglutaconyl-CoA. Mutations in this gene are associated with 3-Methylcrotonylglycinuria, an autosomal recessive disorder of leucine catabolism. DPABH-12824 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:40–1:200) applications. DPABH-12824 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
