General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23111) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human LZTS1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with LZTS1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a tumor suppressor protein that is ubiquitously expressed in normal tissues. In uveal melanomas, expression of this protein is silenced in rapidly metastasizing and metastatic tumor cells but has normal expression in slowly metastasizing or nonmetastasizing tumor cells. This protein may have a role in cell-cycle control by interacting with the Cdk1/cyclinB1 complex. This gene is located on chromosomal region 8p22. Loss of heterozygosity (LOH) in the 8p arm is a common characteristic of many types of cancer. DPABH-23111 is suitable for use in IHC (1:10–1:50) application. DPABH-23111 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
