This product (Catalog No. DPABH-25594) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human LYPLAL1, targeting the amino acid region 1–237 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human LYPLAL1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Lysophospholipase-like 1 protein, encoded by LYPLAL1, a 26 kDa cytosol protein which belongs to a subclass of lysophospholipase family. Human genome-wide association studies link variants of the gene encoding this enzyme to fat distribution, waist-to-hip ratio and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. LYPLAL1 reported to be up-regulated in subcutaneous adipose tissue of obese individuals.(PMID: 25958046, PMID: 27391855, PMID: 21674055).
DPABH-25594 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-25594 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
