General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04319) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human LCN15, targeting the amino acid region 1–143 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. LCN15 (Lipocalin 15) is a member of the lipocalin family of small secreted proteins that typically bind and transport hydrophobic ligands such as lipids, retinoids, or other small molecules. Although its specific physiological ligands have not been clearly identified, LCN15 is thought to function in extracellular transport or modulation of lipid-related signaling processes. Lipocalins often participate in diverse biological roles including immune regulation, cell communication, and protection against oxidative or chemical stress, suggesting that LCN15 may contribute to similar pathways. Expression data indicate that LCN15 is present in multiple tissues, though its functional relevance appears to be context-dependent and not yet fully characterized. At present, its precise biological role and disease associations remain largely unknown and require further experimental investigation.
DPABH-04319 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:500) application.
DPABH-04319 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
