This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26004) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human LCE3C. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. A structural component of the cornified envelope of the stratum corneum involved in innate cutaneous host defense (Probable). Possesses defensin-like antimicrobial activity against a broad spectrum of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, both aerobic and anaerobic species. Upon inflammation, may regulate skin barrier repair by shaping cutaneous microbiota composition and immune response to bacterial antigens.
DPABH-26004 is suitable for use in IHC 1 (50-1:200), IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500) applications.
DPABH-26004 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
