This product (Catalog No. DPABH-17638) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human LCA5, targeting the amino acid region 37–222 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with LCA5 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. LCA5 (Leber congenital amaurosis 5) is a rare, severe inherited retinal dystrophy causing early-onset, profound blindness, caused by mutations in the LCA5 gene. It encodes the protein lebercilin, which is essential for the structure and function of photoreceptor cilia in the eye. It often involves nystagmus, photophobia, and the oculo-digital sign.
DPABH-17638 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:20,000–1:80,000), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:2,000), IHC (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-17638 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% Sodium Azide. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
