Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to a region derived from internal residues of human potassium voltage-gated channel, subfamily G, member 4
General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05326) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human KCNG4. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with KCNG4 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels represent the most complex class of voltage-gated ion channels from both functional and structural standpoints. Their diverse functions include regulating neurotransmitter release, heart rate, insulin secretion, neuronal excitability, epithelial electrolyte transport, smooth muscle contraction, and cell volume. This gene encodes a member of the potassium channel, voltage-gated, subfamily G. This member functions as a modulatory subunit. The gene has strong expression in brain. Multiple alternatively spliced variants have been found in normal and cancerous tissues.
DPABH-05326 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:100–1:300) applications.
DPABH-05326 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
