General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10707) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human KCNF1, targeting the amino acid region 161–260 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with KCNF1 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, sheep, and guineapig. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels represent the most complex class of voltage-gated ion channels from both functional and structural standpoints. Their diverse functions include regulating neurotransmitter release, heart rate, insulin secretion, neuronal excitability, epithelial electrolyte transport, smooth muscle contraction, and cell volume. This gene encodes a member of the potassium channel, voltage-gated, subfamily F. This gene is intronless and expressed in all tissues tested, including the heart, skeletal muscle, brain, kidney, and pancreas.
DPABH-10707 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-10707 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
