General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-15019) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human IFI16, targeting the amino acid region 701–785 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with IFI16 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the HIN-200 (hematopoietic interferon-inducible nuclear antigens with 200 amino acid repeats) family of cytokines. The encoded protein contains domains involved in DNA binding, transcriptional regulation, and protein-protein interactions. The protein localizes to the nucleoplasm and nucleoli, and interacts with p53 and retinoblastoma-1. It modulates p53 function, and inhibits cell growth in the Ras/Raf signaling pathway. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. DPABH-15019 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-15019 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
