General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04420) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ICAM2, targeting the amino acid region 175–277 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ICAM2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the intercellular adhesion molecule (ICAM) family. All ICAM proteins are type I transmembrane glycoproteins, contain 2-9 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, and bind to the leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 protein. This protein may play a role in lymphocyte recirculation by blocking LFA-1-dependent cell adhesion. It mediates adhesive interactions important for antigen-specific immune response, NK-cell mediated clearance, lymphocyte recirculation, and other cellular interactions important for immune response and surveillance. Several transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. DPABH-04420 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), flow cytometry (FC) (1 μg/test) applications. DPABH-04420 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
