General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03439) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ICA1L, targeting the amino acid region 1–187 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ICA1L from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ICA1L (Islet Cell Autoantigen 1 Like) is a cytoplasmic protein that belongs to the ICA1/ICA1L family, which is implicated in membrane trafficking and cytoskeletal organization. ICA1L is expressed in multiple tissues, with notable roles in neuronal and endocrine-related cells. It is thought to participate in endocytic and vesicle transport processes, potentially acting as an adaptor protein that links membrane dynamics to actin cytoskeleton remodeling. ICA1L has also been associated with regulation of intracellular signaling pathways that control secretion and vesicle recycling. In humans, genetic studies have linked variants near ICA1L to neurovascular traits such as cerebral small vessel disease and stroke susceptibility, suggesting a potential role in vascular or neuronal cell function. However, its precise molecular mechanisms remain incompletely characterized, and many functional annotations are inferred from homology with ICA1 and related trafficking-associated proteins.
DPABH-03439 is suitable for use in IF/ICC (1:10–1:100) application.
DPABH-03439 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
