This product (Catalog No. CPBT-32345RH) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CYSLTR1, targeting the amino acid region 252–337 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CYSLTR1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Receptor for cysteinyl leukotrienes mediating bronchoconstriction of individuals with and without asthma. Stimulation by LTD4 results in the contraction and proliferation of smooth muscle, edema, eosinophil migration and damage to the mucus layer in the lung. This response is mediated via a G-protein that activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The rank order of affinities for the leukotrienes is LTD4 >> LTE4 = LTC4 >> LTB4. CPBT-32345RH is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:16,000) application. CPBT-32345RH is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
