General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22666) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human HSF2BP, targeting the amino acid region 1–334 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human HSF2BP from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Heat shock factor 2-binding protein (HSF2BP, also known as MEILB2) is a binding protein of HSF2, which is involved in modulating HSF2 activation in testis (PMID: 9651507). Naturally occurring elevated production of HSF2BP in tumors may be a source of cancer-promoting genomic instability and a vulnerable target (PMID: 31960047; 34790765). DPABH-22666 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications. DPABH-22666 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
