General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18105) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human HS3ST6. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HS3ST6 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Sulfotransferase that utilizes 3'-phospho-5'-adenylyl sulfate (PAPS) to catalyze the transfer of a sulfo group to heparan sulfate. The substrate-specific O-sulfation generates an enzyme-modified heparan sulfate which acts as a binding receptor to Herpes Simplex Virus-1 (HSV-1) and permits its entry. Unlike 3-OST-1, does not convert non-anticoagulant heparan sulfate to anticoagulant heparan sulfate.
DPABH-18105 is suitable for use in IHC 1 (50-1:200), WB 1 (500-1:2000) applications.
DPABH-18105 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
