This product (Catalog No. DPABH-17489) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human HPN. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HPN from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a type II transmembrane serine protease that may be involved in diverse cellular functions, including blood coagulation and the maintenance of cell morphology. Expression of the encoded protein is associated with the growth and progression of cancers, particularly prostate cancer. The protein is cleaved into a catalytic serine protease chain and a non-catalytic scavenger receptor cysteine-rich chain, which associate via a single disulfide bond. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. DPABH-17489 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-17489 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
