General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27558) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human HOXB1, targeting the amino acid region 1–168 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human HOXB1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. HOXB1, also named as HOX2I, belongs to the Antp homeobox family and the Labial subfamily. HOXB1 is sequence-specific transcription factor which is part of a developmental regulatory system that provides cells with specific positional identities on the anterior-posterior axis. HOXB1 acts on the anterior body structures. Establishment of the spatial colinearity in the embryo is directly controlled by the Hox genes themselves. DPABH-27558 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000) application. DPABH-27558 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
