General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-13077) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human HOXA2, targeting the amino acid region 151–209 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. HOXA2 is a homeobox gene located on the short arm of human chromosome 7 at position 7p15.2, encoding a DNA-binding transcription factor that plays a critical role in embryonic development, particularly in the segmentation of the hindbrain and the morphogenesis of craniofacial structures derived from pharyngeal arches. As part of the HoxA gene cluster, which consists of genes organized in four paralogous groups across chromosomes 7, 12, 17, and 2, HOXA2 is the most anteriorly expressed member of its group and is uniquely expressed in rhombomere 2 of the developing hindbrain, where it helps establish positional identity along the anterior-posterior axis.
DPABH-13077 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-13077 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
