General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03226) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human HERC1, targeting the amino acid region 401–500 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HERC1 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. HERC1 (HECT domain and RCC1-like domain 1) is a large protein-coding gene located on chromosome 15 that functions as an E3-ubiquitin ligase, targeting proteins for degradation and acting as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for small GTPases involved in intracellular membrane trafficking. It plays a critical role in brain development, cell migration, and regulating the mTOR pathway. Mutations in HERC1 are associated with rare syndromic neurodevelopmental disorders, characterized by intellectual disability, macrocephaly, tall stature, and hypotonia.
DPABH-03226 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
DPABH-03226 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
