General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-00656) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human HCFC1, targeting the amino acid region 52–258 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human HCFC1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Host cell factor 1 (HCF-1), encoded by the HCFC1 gene, is a crucial human nuclear protein acting as a transcriptional coregulator. It is essential for cell cycle progression (G1 to S phase), proliferation, and histone modification, acting as a scaffold to link transcription factors like E2F, THAP11, and ZNF143 with chromatin-modifying enzymes. Originally identified for its role in herpes simplex virus (HSV) infection, HCF-1 is post-translationally cleaved into N- and C-terminal subunits that form an active complex.
DPABH-00656 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-00656 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
