General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-29240) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GTPBP4. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GTPBP4 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. GTPBP4 is a protein-coding gene located on the short arm of human chromosome 10 at position 10p15.3 that encodes a small nucleolar GTP-binding protein, also known as chronic renal failure gene protein (CRFG) or nucleolar GTP-binding protein 1 (NOG1), which functions as a GTPase involved in the biogenesis of the 60S ribosomal subunit by associating with pre-60S ribosomal particles and facilitating their maturation and nuclear export. The protein, consisting of 634 amino acids with a molecular mass of approximately 74 kDa, operates as a molecular switch cycling between GTP-bound (active) and GDP-bound (inactive) states to regulate cellular processes such as ribosome assembly.
DPABH-29240 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:200), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:200) applications.
DPABH-29240 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
