General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20544) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GOLGA4, targeting the amino acid region 2061–2160 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GOLGA4 from mouse, rat, pig, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The Golgi apparatus, which participates in glycosylation and transport of proteins and lipids in the secretory pathway, consists of a series of stacked cisternae (flattened membrane sacs). Interactions between the Golgi and microtubules are thought to be important for the reorganization of the Golgi after it fragments during mitosis. This gene encodes one of the golgins, a family of proteins localized to the Golgi. This protein has been postulated to play a role in Rab6-regulated membrane-tethering events in the Golgi apparatus. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified in this gene.

DPABH-20544 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
