This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04164) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GLIPR1L1, targeting the amino acid region 23–233 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human GLIPR1L1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. GLIPR1L1 (GLI Pathogenesis Related 1 Like 1) is a member of the CAP (cysteine-rich secretory proteins, antigen 5, and pathogenesis-related 1) superfamily and is predominantly expressed in testicular tissue. It encodes a secreted or membrane-associated glycoprotein that is implicated in male reproductive biology, particularly in sperm maturation and function. GLIPR1L1 is thought to localize to the sperm surface and may participate in processes such as sperm–egg interaction, acrosome reaction regulation, or epididymal maturation. Proteins in the GLIPR1 family are characterized by conserved cysteine-rich domains that are often involved in protein–protein interactions and extracellular signaling. Experimental studies suggest that GLIPR1L1 may influence fertility-related mechanisms, although its precise molecular partners and pathways remain incompletely defined. Overall, GLIPR1L1 is considered a reproductive tract–associated protein with a putative role in sperm function and fertilization competence.
DPABH-04164 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:100–1:400) applications.
DPABH-04164 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
