General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-23805) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GGT7, targeting the amino acid region 581–662 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GGT7 from mouse, rat, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene is a member of a gene family that encodes enzymes involved in both the metabolism of glutathione and in the transpeptidation of amino acids. Changes in the activity of gamma-glutamyltransferase may signal preneoplastic or toxic conditions in the liver or kidney. The protein encoded by this gene consists of a heavy and a light chain, and it can interact with CT120, a plasma membrane-associated protein that is possibly involved in lung carcinogenesis.
DPABH-23805 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
DPABH-23805 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
