This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05411) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GFPT2, targeting the amino acid region 330–682 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. GFPT2 (Glutamine-fructose-6phosphate transaminase 2) is a rate-limiting enzyme in hexosamine biosynthesis involved in the occurrence and progress of many cancers (PMID: 35330716, 14764791). GFPT2 plays an important role in the metabolic activity of cells, especially in their glucose metabolism. GFPT2 expression was highly correlated with EMT-related factors (PMID: 37395335). High GFPT2 expression is associated with poor prognosis in various tumors, including lung adenocarcinoma, colorectal cancer, leiomyosarcoma, and serous ovarian cancer.
DPABH-05411 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-05411 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
