General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-13465) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human GFI1B, targeting the amino acid region 171–270 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GFI1B from mouse, rat, dog, pig, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a zinc-finger containing transcriptional regulator that is primarily expressed in cells of hematopoietic lineage. The encoded protein complexes with numerous other transcriptional regulatory proteins including GATA-1, runt-related transcription factor 1 and histone deacetylases to control expression of genes involved in the development and maturation of erythrocytes and megakaryocytes. Mutations in this gene are the cause of the autosomal dominant platelet disorder, platelet-type bleeding disorder-17. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
DPABH-13465 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
DPABH-13465 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
