This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01420) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GATA2, targeting the amino acid region 175–480 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human GATA2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. GATA2 is a gene located on chromosome 3q21.3 in humans that encodes a member of the GATA family of zinc-finger transcription factors, which bind to the consensus nucleotide sequence (A/T)GATA(A/G) in target gene promoters to regulate transcription, particularly in hematopoietic and endocrine cell lineages. This transcription factor plays a critical role in maintaining hematopoietic stem cell homeostasis, promoting myeloid and erythroid differentiation, and supporting processes such as angiogenesis, lymphatic development, and neuronal maturation. Expressed broadly across tissues with particularly high levels in the prostate and endometrium, GATA2 influences the development and function of multiple cell types, including those in the immune system.
DPABH-01420 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-01420 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
