This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22243) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GALR1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GALR1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The neuropeptide galanin elicits a range of biological effects by interaction with specific G-protein-coupled receptors. Galanin receptors are seven-transmembrane proteins shown to activate a variety of intracellular second-messenger pathways. GALR1 inhibits adenylyl cyclase via a G protein of the Gi/Go family. GALR1 is widely expressed in the brain and spinal cord, as well as in peripheral sites such as the small intestine and heart. DPABH-22243 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-22243 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
