This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12299) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human FZD7, targeting the amino acid region 501–574 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with FZD7 from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, and guineapig. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Members of the 'frizzled' gene family encode 7-transmembrane domain proteins that are receptors for Wnt signaling proteins. The FZD7 protein contains an N-terminal signal sequence, 10 cysteine residues typical of the cysteine-rich extracellular domain of Fz family members, 7 putative transmembrane domains, and an intracellular C-terminal tail with a PDZ domain-binding motif. FZD7 gene expression may downregulate APC function and enhance beta-catenin-mediated signals in poorly differentiated human esophageal carcinomas.
DPABH-12299 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), flow cytometry (FC) (3 μg/test) applications.
DPABH-12299 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
