General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20928) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human FIBIN, targeting the amino acid region 19–98 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. FIBIN (Fin Bud Initiation Factor Homolog) is a conserved protein-coding gene that is implicated in developmental processes, particularly in tissue patterning and morphogenesis. It was originally identified in zebrafish as a factor involved in fin bud initiation, suggesting a role in early developmental signaling pathways. In vertebrates, FIBIN is thought to function as a secreted or extracellular-associated protein that may participate in intercellular communication during embryogenesis, although its precise molecular mechanism remains unclear. Expression studies indicate that FIBIN is dynamically regulated during development and may show tissue-specific or stage-specific expression patterns. While its biochemical activity and receptor interactions have not been fully defined, FIBIN is considered an evolutionarily conserved developmental regulator with potential roles in growth, regeneration, and tissue organization.
DPABH-20928 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:500) application.
DPABH-20928 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
