General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26677) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human FAM35A, targeting the amino acid region 381–480 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with FAM35A from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. FAM35A (Family with sequence similarity 35, member A), also known as SHLD2 or RINN2, is a crucial component of the Shieldin complex that mediates DNA double-strand break (DSB) repair. It promotes non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) and inhibits DNA end resection by binding single-stranded DNA via C-terminal OB-fold domains. FAM35A plays a key role in regulating DNA repair pathway choices, particularly in BRCA1-deficient cells. DPABH-26677 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-26677 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
