This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12987) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human FAM193A, targeting the amino acid region 781–880 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with FAM193A from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. FAM193A (Family With Sequence Similarity 193 Member A) is a protein-coding gene identified as a critical, widespread positive regulator of the p53 tumor suppressor pathway. It enhances p53 activity by interacting with MDM2/MDM4 and promoting MDM4 turnover, acting as a crucial component in cellular responses to therapy and suggesting potential tumor-suppressor functions.
DPABH-12987 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-12987 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
