This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20509) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human FAM184A. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with FAM184A from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. FAM184A (Family with Sequence Similarity 184 Member A) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a relatively uncharacterized protein conserved across vertebrates. The protein is predicted to be intracellular and may contain structural motifs that facilitate protein–protein interactions, although its exact domains and biochemical functions are not fully defined. Expression studies indicate that FAM184A is present in multiple tissues, with reported expression in the nervous system and other organs, suggesting a potential role in cellular processes related to development or signaling. To date, its precise molecular function, interacting partners, and involvement in specific biological pathways or diseases remain largely unclear, making it an understudied gene of interest for future functional characterization.

DPABH-20509 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
