General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12669) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human FAM166A, targeting the amino acid region 1–210 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human FAM166A from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. FAM166A (Family with Sequence Similarity 166 Member A) is a poorly characterized protein-coding gene that encodes a predicted intracellular protein with no well-defined functional domains or enzymatic motifs. Its biological function remains largely unknown and is primarily inferred from sequence conservation and expression data. FAM166A is conserved across vertebrate species, suggesting that it may have an evolutionarily conserved but as yet unidentified cellular role. Expression profiling indicates that it is broadly expressed at low to moderate levels across multiple tissues without strong tissue specificity. At present, there are no well-established biochemical pathways, molecular interaction partners, or disease associations linked to FAM166A, and it remains an uncharacterized gene requiring further functional investigation.
DPABH-12669 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:6,000) application.
DPABH-12669 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
