This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10068) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human FAM117A. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with FAM117A from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. FAM117A (Family with sequence similarity 117 member A) is a protein-coding gene, identified as a tumor suppressor and a prognostic marker in cancers like lung adenocarcinoma and gastric cancer. It regulates cell cycle progression and, when downregulated, promotes tumor growth. FAM117A interacts with signaling pathways (e.g., p53) and impacts cell adhesion molecules.
DPABH-10068 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:5,000), IHC (1:50–1:200) applications.
DPABH-10068 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
