General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20752) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human EPYC, targeting the amino acid region 24–322 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human EPYC from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. EPYC (Epiphycan), also known as DSPG3. It is demonstrated that DSPG3 is expressed in cartilage, as well as ligament and placental tissues (PMID: 8975717). May have a role in bone formation and also in establishing the ordered structure of cartilage through matrix organization. The molecular weight of EPYC is 37 kDa, it is also reported the molecular weight is 62 kDa (PMID: 38184732). DPABH-20752 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000) application. DPABH-20752 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
