This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01760) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human EPB41L5, targeting the amino acid region 349–445 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. EPB41L5, a member of the NBL4 subgroup of the band 4.1 superfamily, contains a FERM domain and plays an important role in regulating the connection between plasma membrane proteins and the cytoskeleton underneath the plasma membrane (PMID: 30082297). EPB41L5 is a mesenchymal-specific protein induced during EMT (epithelial-mesenchymal transition) that promotes the disruption of cell-cell adhesion kinetics (PMID: 34784520). EPB41L5 exists as four alternatively spliced isoforms encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 2q14.2.
DPABH-01760 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000) application.
DPABH-01760 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
