This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20155) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ENY2, targeting the amino acid region 1–101 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ENY2, also named as DC6, is involved in mRNA export coupled transcription activation by association with both the TREX-2 and the SAGA complexes. Within the SAGA complex, participates in a subcomplex that specifically deubiquitinates both histones H2A and H2B. The SAGA complex is recruited to specific gene promoters by activators such as MYC, where it is required for transcription. It is required for nuclear receptor-mediated transactivation. The TREX-2 complex functions in docking export-competent ribonucleoprotein particles (mRNPs) to the nuclear entrance of the nuclear pore complex (nuclear basket). The MW of ENY2 is about 10 kDa.
DPABH-20155 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-20155 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
