This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20042) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human EFCAB5. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. EFCAB5 (EF-Hand Calcium Binding Domain 5) is a protein-coding gene, and a key regulator of sperm motility and fertility, with high expression in the testes. It contains EF-hand domains, which typically bind calcium to regulate cellular signaling. Studies show that downregulated EFCAB5 expression is linked to ejaculatory azoospermia in humans, and its deletion in mice causes reduced sperm motility. DPABH-20042 is suitable for use in IF (immunofluorescence) (1: 25-100) application. DPABH-20042 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
