General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19773) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human EFCAB14. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. EFCAB14 (EF-Hand Calcium Binding Domain 14) is a human protein-coding gene that encodes a protein containing EF-hand motifs, which are helix-loop-helix structural domains known for binding calcium ions. Proteins with EF-hand domains often function as calcium sensors or calcium-binding regulators, participating in intracellular signaling pathways that depend on changes in calcium concentration. EFCAB14 is thought to play a role in calcium-mediated cellular processes, potentially influencing signaling cascades, protein–protein interactions, or structural functions within the cell. However, its precise biological functions, interaction partners, and tissue-specific roles are not yet well characterized. Like many EF-hand family members, EFCAB14 is believed to contribute to calcium-dependent regulation of cellular activity, but further experimental evidence is needed to define its exact physiological and molecular roles.
DPABH-19773 is suitable for use in IF/ICC 1 (100-1:500), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications.
DPABH-19773 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
