This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20563) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ECM2, targeting the amino acid region 350–699 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ECM2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Extracellular matrix protein 2 (ECM2) is a secreted glycoprotein encoded by the human ECM2 gene on chromosome 9q22.31, belonging to the small leucine-rich proteoglycan (SLRP) family class I, and characterized by structural domains including leucine-rich repeats, a von Willebrand factor type C domain, and an RGD motif that facilitate protein-protein interactions. It shares sequence similarity with other extracellular matrix components such as decorin and keratocan, contributing to the structural integrity of the extracellular matrix. Primarily expressed in adipose tissue, mammary gland, ovary, and uterus, ECM2 plays a role in tissue-specific matrix assembly and is notably abundant in female reproductive and adipocyte environments.
DPABH-20563 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:20–1:200) applications.
DPABH-20563 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
