This product (Catalog No. DPABH-10723) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human DNAJC5B, targeting the amino acid region 1–199 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human DNAJC5B from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. DNAJC5B encodes cysteine string proteins (CSP) beta. CSPs belong to the DnaJ-like chaperone family and play an important role in regulated exocytosis in neurons and endocrine cells. Mammals express three CSP proteins, α, β, γ. In contrast to the CSPα which is ubiquitously expressed, CSPβ is restricted to testis and auditory hair cell neurons. The predicted MW of DNAJC5B is around 22 kDa, while some modified forms exist (PMID: 17034881).
DPABH-10723 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IF/ICC (1:10–1:100) applications.
DPABH-10723 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
