General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05683) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CYYR1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with CYYR1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CYYR1 (cysteine and tyrosine-rich protein 1) is a protein-coding gene in humans that encodes a vertebrate-specific protein of the same name, characterized by a highly conserved central domain rich in cysteine and tyrosine residues. Located on the long arm of chromosome 21 at cytogenetic band 21q21.3 (genomic coordinates GRCh38: 21:26,466,216-26,573,286), the gene spans approximately 107 kilobases and consists of four small exons, with additional alternative splicing producing multiple isoforms. The full-length protein comprises 154 amino acids with a molecular mass of 16.6 kDa, featuring an N-terminal signal peptide, a transmembrane region, and a C-terminal proline-rich domain containing PPPY motifs that may facilitate interactions between the cytoskeleton and extracellular matrix. Expression of CYYR1 is variable across tissues, with highest levels observed in placenta, skeletal muscle, and heart, and it undergoes tissue-specific alternative splicing in organs such as brain, colon, and pancreas.
DPABH-05683 is suitable for use in IHC (1:50–1:300) application.
DPABH-05683 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
